THE HEART MAKERS
Hearts and flowers have never really been my thing and, to be quite honest, Valentines Day in this house has been known to pass without mention. But if you're partial to a bit of romance on the day that all others choose to celebrate then please be my guest.
I fondly remember my old Wildfox Sparkly Heart jumper that I wore to death and had to give it up when it was more holes than jumper. You can't buy it now sadly but I'm always on the look out for something similar.
With that in mind, I decided rather than doing the favoured Valentines Gift guide, I'd show some quirky little fashion bits and pieces celebrating that big, red, beating thing that is the heart .............

These two items are from the Dr Martens Hearts Collection and they donate the net profits from every purchase to the British Red Cross UK Solidarity Fund to support those affected by terror attacks anywhere in the UK including the recent incidents in Manchester and London.
(not sure if you can still buy this collection in store - a lot is sold out online but the collection is so cute and for such a great cause, I just had to feature)
This one is in stock though ......
